I was looking for some affordable tasty sushi to tie me over until my next paycheck. I found this place and decided to check it out. It's in a dingy corner mall.
I've learned not to judge a book by it's cover since many of my favorite meals have come from "hole in the walls". I was quickly and pleasantly greeted by the guy who worked up front. He seemed busy with the business aspect of the place and tried to give me some attention, but I told him I was new and needed some more time, he politely obliged and went back on to his paperwork. A little asian lady popped out (his mom?) and she tried to help me as well.
I browsed the menu on the wall and if I'm completely honest, I felt the prices were on the high side given the area and appearance of the place. I've been to much nicer and cleaner sushi bars with the same prices. Anyways, I decided on my sushi roll to go. And waited a reasonable time. The guy seemed genuinely inquisitive for feedback on how we found him and other questions. From this one visit, I found the small staff to be very friendly and eager to help.
When we got home, I wasn't holding my breath for any masterpiece, but I was pleasantly surprised. My roll was delicious, generous size and it was nicely prepared. I guess this justifies the menu prices, I look forward to trying more rolls! -

So I really wanted to try this place because my husband raves about his childhood memories at this little spot !. The food was very bland . Lacked flavor . Seemed like frozen food that was just heated up. We paid 35 dollars for 3 plates. Which is way overpriced for the amount and quality of food you're receiving. Will not be back here. The lady upfront was very sweet and the restaurant area was very clean . Just not my cup of tea.

This place has low quality food for their high prices. I ordered the beef and chicken combo no teriyaki sauce for 10 bucks...When they hand it to me, I asked again, "No Sauce Right?" and they said yes, no sauce. I get back to work and the whole meal is just drowning in it! Not even one grain of rice had no sauce on it.
To make things worse, there was only like 5 pieces of chicken and beef each and the rest was all rice!!
Rather go to Panda Express next time, NEVER AGAIN. -

This place e is a ripe off!!!! They hardly give you any chicken the rice is extra full of teriyaki too sweet! The dressing for the salad taste like nothing but ginger the price would be fair if the food was actually good!!
